Frequently Asked Questions
Is WebHookDeck a standalone watch app?
Not fully. Setup and editing are handled by the Android phone companion app. The watch can trigger synced actions once they are configured.
Where do webhook actions run?
Webhook actions are sent from your phone or watch to the endpoints you configure. They are not routed through a WebHookDeck developer server.
Does WebHookDeck include a Tile or complication?
Yes. The current Wear OS manifest includes a favorites Tile and a watch face complication.
How should I handle secrets?
Webhook URLs, headers, request bodies, and tokens can be sensitive. Only configure endpoints you trust, and avoid exposing dangerous actions without authentication or confirmation.
