After you explicitly start a walking challenge, WalkReset requests activity-recognition permission and temporarily reads changes from the watch step-counter sensor. Time and derived step progress are processed locally on the watch.
Will WalkReset trap me in repeated reminders?
No. Persistent reminders are always paired with immediate controls to snooze, pause, skip the current break, stop reminders for the day, or disable the routine.
Does WalkReset collect or transmit my activity history?
No. The current design has no account, developer backend, advertising, analytics, crash-reporting SDK, or internet permission. Routine settings, derived walking progress, and history stay in local watch storage.
