Does SquadTap require a phone companion app?
No. SquadTap is a standalone Wear OS application that runs directly on the watch.
Which assignment modes are included?
The current release includes numbered winner picks, balanced teams, partners, complete turn order, and Tap and Pass with private reveals and a final summary. Picking one winner, two balanced teams, partners with automatic trio handling, and Tap and Pass for those outcomes are free. Multiple winners, three or four teams, bye and floater handling, and complete turn order require the one-time SquadTap Pro purchase.
How does Tap and Pass protect each result?
An individual result is shown only on the reveal screen. SquadTap removes it before the neutral handoff screen, conceals it when the app leaves the foreground, and blocks screenshots, screen recording, and recent-app previews while it is visible. This reduces accidental peeking but is not high-security encryption.
Does SquadTap collect participant information or assignments?
No participant information or generated assignment is sent to the developer. The current production workflows use numbered participants and process assignments locally for the active session.
Does SquadTap include ads, subscriptions, or in-app purchases?
SquadTap is a free download with no ads and no subscription. It includes one optional in-app purchase, SquadTap Pro, which is a single one-time unlock rather than a recurring charge. Google Play shows the price in your local currency.
What happens to SquadTap Pro if I reinstall or go offline?
Pro is tied to your Google account, so it restores automatically on reinstall and there is also a manual Restore purchase action. SquadTap keeps a small local record so Pro keeps working while the watch is offline, and it re-checks with Google Play when a connection is available.
