Convert common temperature, mass, volume, and length units directly on the watch
Open favourite and recently used conversion pairs without rebuilding the conversion each time
See results update immediately while entering or adjusting a value
Swap source and destination units with one action
Distinguish US and Imperial fluid ounces, pints, quarts, and gallons with explicit labels
Use a watch-friendly numeric keypad and rotary crown adjustment
Accept locale-aware decimal separators and format results for the current locale
Choose automatic or fixed result precision and optional haptic feedback
Store favourites, recents, preferences, and the last-used pair locally on the watch
Run as a standalone offline utility with no phone companion, account, developer backend, or runtime permission prompts planned for the first release

Frequently Asked Questions

Does WristConvert require a phone companion app?

No. WristConvert is planned as a standalone Wear OS app that performs every first-release conversion directly on the watch.

Which conversions are planned for the first release?

The first release is planned to include temperature, mass, volume, and length, including clearly separated US and Imperial volume units.

Why does WristConvert not include currency conversion?

Currency requires current exchange-rate data and a network dependency. WristConvert is intentionally focused on dependable physical-unit conversions that work fully offline.

Will WristConvert collect my data?

The planned first release stores favourites, recents, and preferences locally on the watch and does not include accounts, ads, analytics, or a developer backend. The final privacy declaration will be verified against the release build before launch.

How will WristConvert be priced?

The current launch plan is a low-cost, one-time paid download with no subscription or advertising.
