Quick Summary
FidgetDrop is a privacy-first Android haptic fidget app. App settings, Local Records, the verified FidgetDrop Pro entitlement cache, and bounded review-eligibility metadata are stored locally on the device. Motion and stylus input are processed transiently on-device. FidgetDrop has no account system, ads, analytics SDK, crash-reporting backend, cloud sync, or developer-operated backend.
App-Specific Details
Specific data handling practices for FidgetDrop Haptic Fidget.
- Stores app settings, Local Records, personal bests, verified Pro entitlement state, and bounded review-eligibility metadata locally on the device.

- Uses Google Play In-App Review for optional review UI; FidgetDrop does not receive review text, star ratings, sentiment, display status, or submission status.

# FidgetDrop Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 9, 2026
Applies to FidgetDrop Haptic Fidget for Android phones and tablets.
## Summary
FidgetDrop is designed to be privacy-first, offline-first, ad-free, and account-free. The developer does not operate a FidgetDrop account service, analytics service, advertising service, crash-reporting backend, cloud-sync service, or application backend.
FidgetDrop stores limited app data locally on your device so its settings, local records, optional Pro access, and review eligibility can function. Motion and stylus samples used by interactive fidgets are processed transiently on-device and are not transmitted to the developer.
## Information stored locally
FidgetDrop may store the following on your device:
- App settings and preferences
- Haptic intensity, haptic texture, response-curve, sound, theme, Mix Mode, and related customization settings
- Local Records and personal bests where those features are enabled
- A cached verified FidgetDrop Pro entitlement flag so previously verified access can continue while Google Play is temporarily unavailable
- Bounded Google Play review-eligibility metadata, including first-launch time, foreground-session count, threshold-capped successful-use/completion progress, and the last review-flow attempt time
This information is used only to operate FidgetDrop features on your device. FidgetDrop does not send this local app content to a developer-operated backend.
FidgetDrop sets Android backup off for the application. Local app data remains device-local unless Android or Google Play independently handles platform-level app installation, purchase, or device-management information under their own policies.
## Motion sensors
Selected fidgets can use Android-reported gravity, accelerometer, and gyroscope readings while their interactive screen is visible. These readings are used to control effects such as sand movement, marble movement, liquid-metal motion, or gyro-style interaction.
Motion readings are processed transiently on-device. FidgetDrop does not transmit raw motion readings, store them as personal data, or send them to analytics or advertising services. Android does not require a runtime permission for the motion sensors used by FidgetDrop.
## Stylus and S Pen input
On compatible Android devices, FidgetDrop can detect supported stylus input and use standard Android stylus metadata such as pressure, tilt, orientation, eraser state, and stylus-button state for selected tactile interactions.
Stylus capability and active stylus samples are processed transiently on-device. They are not transmitted, stored as personal data, logged to analytics, or shared with advertisers. Supported fidgets retain normal touch interaction when a stylus is unavailable.
## Google Play purchases
FidgetDrop offers an optional one-time, non-consumable purchase called **FidgetDrop Pro**. The Google Play product identifier is **fidgetdrop_plus_lifetime**.
Google Play Billing is used to:
- Load the available product and localized price
- Launch the purchase flow
- Determine purchase state
- Acknowledge completed purchases
- Restore previously owned access
- Reconcile ownership after refunds or revocations
Google Play handles payment processing and Google Account purchase history. FidgetDrop does not receive your full payment-card details or billing address. The app stores only the local verified entitlement state needed to operate Pro access and offline continuity.
Pending or cancelled purchases do not unlock Pro. If Google Play is temporarily unavailable, FidgetDrop may preserve the last verified local entitlement until ownership can be reconciled again.
## Google Play review UI
FidgetDrop can request the Google Play In-App Review flow after bounded on-device eligibility conditions are met. Google Play decides whether review UI is displayed.
FidgetDrop does not receive or store:
- Review text
- Star rating
- Review sentiment
- Whether Google Play displayed the dialog
- Whether a review was submitted
The locally stored eligibility counters are not transmitted to the developer and are not used for advertising or analytics.
## Network and SDK behavior
FidgetDrop has no first-party HTTP client, developer API, analytics endpoint, advertising endpoint, or account backend. The app intentionally does not declare the Android INTERNET permission.
Google Play Billing and Google Play Review are Google platform integrations. Google Play and packaged Google components may process purchase-related, review-related, or technical service data according to Google's own policies. The Google Play Data Safety form should reflect the exact SDK behavior in the uploaded release bundle.
## Permissions
FidgetDrop's app manifest declares:
- **android.permission.VIBRATE** for tactile feedback
- **com.android.vending.BILLING** for Google Play purchase and restore flows
FidgetDrop intentionally removes the Android INTERNET permission from the final app manifest. A dependency-provided ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE declaration may appear in the merged package for Google Play Billing; FidgetDrop's own code does not read network state.
FidgetDrop does not request location, microphone, camera, contacts, calendar, photo/file storage, phone state, advertising ID, or health permissions.
## Advertising, analytics, accounts, and backend services
FidgetDrop does not include:
- Ads or advertising SDKs
- Analytics SDKs
- Firebase Analytics
- Crashlytics
- A FidgetDrop account system
- A developer-operated backend
- Custom cloud sync
- User-to-user social features
The developer does not sell FidgetDrop usage data to advertisers.
## Deleting local data
You can reset Local Records from FidgetDrop Settings. Resetting Local Records does not remove a Google Play purchase.
To remove all FidgetDrop app-local data, you can clear FidgetDrop storage in Android settings or uninstall the app. Google Play purchase history and ownership are managed separately by Google Play and may be restored when the app reconnects to Play.
## Children and sensitive claims
FidgetDrop is a general-purpose tactile fidget application. It is not a medical device and does not provide therapy, diagnosis, treatment, mental-health, or other medical claims.
## Changes
This policy will be updated before a release that materially changes FidgetDrop's data handling, permissions, SDK behavior, storage model, or network behavior.
