# FidgetDrop: Wear OS Fidget Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 23, 2026
FidgetDrop is a freemium standalone Wear OS fidget app published by Quazmoz / Quinn Favo. The core app is free and an optional permanent Wear Pro purchase unlocks additional fidgets or functionality. FidgetDrop does not offer a subscription.
## Summary
FidgetDrop is designed to collect and share no user data with the developer. It has no developer account system, analytics, advertising, tracking, crash reporting, remote configuration, cloud sync, or developer backend.
App settings and a cached verified Wear Pro entitlement remain local on the watch. Motion samples used by Gyro Sand and Gyro Marble are processed temporarily while those screens are visible and are not retained or transmitted.
## Data stored locally
FidgetDrop may store the following in app-private watch storage:
- Haptic intensity.
- Sound enabled or disabled.
- Discreet Mode.
- Visual feedback preference.
- Default launch destination.
- Last-used fidget.
- Up to three favorite fidgets.
- Up to three recently used fidgets for local menu ordering.
- Which one-time interaction hints have been acknowledged.
- The last Wear Pro entitlement successfully verified with Google Play.
Detailed fidget interaction state, motion samples, recenter calibration, usage logs, timestamps, session duration, scores, purchase tokens, payment-card information, billing addresses, and transaction history are not stored by FidgetDrop.
## Google Play Billing and Wear Pro
FidgetDrop uses Google Play Billing Library 9.1 for the non-consumable one-time product fidgetdrop_wear_pro_lifetime.
The app may request product details and the localized price from Google Play, launch Google's purchase interface, query product ownership, receive purchase state and product identifiers needed to grant access, acknowledge completed purchases, restore purchases, and reconcile ownership after refunds or revocations.
Google Play processes payment information and transaction records under Google's policies. FidgetDrop does not receive or store payment-card details and does not send purchase or user data to a developer backend.
The cached entitlement is a local access-control preference. Google Play remains the source of truth for purchase ownership.
## Motion sensor processing
Gyro Sand and Gyro Marble may use gravity, accelerometer, or gyroscope input while their screens are visible. Samples are transformed and consumed in memory to move on-screen content.
Sensor listeners stop when the user leaves the relevant screen. Samples and recenter calibration are not logged, saved, uploaded, shared, or used for health, advertising, analytics, or identification.
## Permissions and platform capabilities
FidgetDrop uses:
- VIBRATE for finite haptic feedback after direct user interaction.
- com.android.vending.BILLING for the optional Wear Pro purchase and restoration.
- ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE may be merged transitively by Google Play Billing; FidgetDrop does not request general INTERNET access for developer networking.
FidgetDrop does not request location, microphone, camera, contacts, calendar, files/photos, health/body sensors, activity recognition, notifications, storage, wake locks, boot, or foreground-service permissions.
## Sound feedback
Optional short sound effects are generated locally. FidgetDrop does not request microphone permission and does not record, store, analyze, or transmit ambient audio, speech, or conversations.
## Tiles, complications, and background behavior
FidgetDrop may include static Wear OS Tile and complication launch surfaces. They do not collect personal data, start fidget sessions, record audio, continuously monitor sensors, or perform background Billing checks.
FidgetDrop does not perform background polling, background vibration, scheduled provider refresh, foreground-service work, persistent audio, or background sensor processing. Purchase reconciliation occurs when the app starts or resumes in the foreground.
## Backup and deletion
Android cloud backup is disabled. Local preferences and the cached entitlement are deleted when the app is uninstalled. An eligible purchase can be restored after reinstall by querying Google Play.
You can also delete local data by clearing FidgetDrop storage in Wear OS settings. Because the app has no account system or developer backend, there is no server-side FidgetDrop account data to delete.
## Data collection and sharing
The developer does not collect, sell, rent, or share FidgetDrop app data. Google Play may process standard app distribution, installation, update, security, and purchase-related information according to Google's policies.
## Health and safety
FidgetDrop does not access heart rate, blood oxygen, steps, sleep, workouts, or other health data. It is a general tactile fidget app and is not a medical device or a source of medical, therapeutic, diagnostic, or mental-health treatment claims.
Haptic strength and sound behavior vary by watch hardware and system settings. Stop using the app if feedback is uncomfortable or disruptive.
## Children's privacy
FidgetDrop is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
## Changes
This policy may be updated when FidgetDrop's features, permissions, SDKs, billing behavior, or data practices change. The current version and update date will be published on this page.
