# FidgetDrop: Wear OS Fidget Privacy Policy Last updated: July 12, 2026 ## Overview FidgetDrop: Wear OS Fidget is a standalone watch app that provides haptic-first fidget interactions with optional generated sound feedback. The app is designed to work locally on the watch. It does not require a phone companion, account, internet connection, developer-operated backend, cloud sync, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, remote configuration, billing, or crash-reporting SDK in the current release candidate. ## Data Stored Locally FidgetDrop may store the following settings in app-private storage on the watch: - Haptic intensity preference. - Sound enabled or disabled preference. - Discreet Mode preference. - Visual feedback preference. - Default launch destination. - Last-used fidget mode. This information is used only to operate the app and restore the user's chosen settings. The current app does not maintain a developer account, cloud profile, social profile, or server-side usage history. Android backup is disabled for the current app so these local settings are not transferred through app backup by the developer. ## Haptic Feedback And Permissions The current application manifest requests only: - VIBRATE, used for tactile feedback after direct user interaction with a fidget mode. The app does not request location, microphone, camera, contacts, calendar, files or photos, notifications, health or body sensors, advertising ID, storage, boot, wake-lock, or foreground-service permissions. ## Optional Sound Feedback FidgetDrop can produce short sound effects paired with fidget interactions. These sounds are generated locally in memory as short PCM sonifications. The app does not include an audio recorder, does not request microphone permission, and does not record, store, analyze, or transmit ambient audio, speech, or conversations. Sound playback follows the watch's system audio volume, mute state, and routing. Discreet Mode suppresses app sound even when sound feedback is otherwise enabled. ## Network And Third-Party Services The current app does not request internet access and does not send app settings, fidget interactions, device information, or audio to the developer or to a developer-operated service. Google Play may process standard app distribution, installation, update, and store-related technical information under Google's own policies. FidgetDrop does not receive that information through an in-app developer backend. ## Tiles And Complications FidgetDrop includes a Wear OS launcher Tile and a SHORT_TEXT watch face complication for quick access. These surfaces do not collect personal data and do not start background fidget sessions, audio recording, or continuous monitoring. ## Background Behavior FidgetDrop does not use background polling, continuous sensor listeners, wake locks, foreground services, boot receivers, or persistent background audio. Haptic and sound feedback occur only during direct user interaction with the app. ## Data Collection And Sharing The developer does not collect personal data through the current app, does not sell personal information, and does not share personal information with advertisers. The app does not include advertising, analytics, tracking, account, cloud-sync, or developer-backend functionality in the current release candidate. ## Data Deletion You can delete all local FidgetDrop data by clearing the app's storage in Wear OS settings or uninstalling the app from the watch. Because the current app has no account system or developer backend, there is no server-side FidgetDrop account data to delete. ## Children FidgetDrop is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The current app does not transmit personal data to the developer. ## Safety Note FidgetDrop is a general-purpose tactile fidget app. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, therapeutic, diagnostic, or mental-health treatment claims. Haptic strength and sound behavior vary by watch hardware and system settings. Users should stop using the app if the feedback is uncomfortable or disruptive. ## Changes To This Policy This policy may be updated if the app's functionality or data practices change. The effective date at the top will be updated when material changes are made. ## Contact For privacy questions or support, contact Quazmoz@vivaldi.net.
