Workout Interval HIIT Timer Privacy Policy

Last Updated: September 3, 2026

Quick Summary

Workout Interval HIIT Timer is a standalone Wear OS interval timer. Presets, active workout state, onboarding completion, selected color theme, rating state, Tile/complication state, and optional Pro entitlement state are stored locally on the watch. The app uses Google Play Billing for the optional one-time Pro unlock and only opens the external Quazmoz support page after the user explicitly taps Report a bug.

App-Specific Details

Specific data handling practices for Workout Interval HIIT Timer.

  • Stores interval presets, active timer recovery state, onboarding completion, selected color theme, rating eligibility state, Tile/complication state, notification-prompt state, and optional Pro entitlement state locally on the watch.
  • Uses notification, vibration, special-use foreground-service, and wake-lock capabilities only for reliable user-started interval workouts and haptic cues; it does not request a battery-optimization exemption.
  • Uses Google Play Billing for the optional non-consumable one-time Pro purchase. Google Play processes payment and purchase history.
  • Wear OS Tile and watch-face complication surfaces use local app state and do not upload timer or preset content to the developer.
  • Report a bug is an explicit external support action. The app prefers a companion-phone handoff and can fall back to a watch browser; the URL contains only the support-flow type, Wear source marker, and bounded app version.
  • The app does not silently upload diagnostics, logs, workout data, presets, billing data, identifiers, or arbitrary user input to the support website.
  • Does not use an app account, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, developer-operated app backend, custom cloud sync, location, microphone, camera, contacts, calendar, files/photos, health/body sensors, or advertising ID.

# Workout Interval HIIT Timer Privacy Policy Last updated: September 3, 2026 Workout Interval HIIT Timer is a standalone Wear OS interval timer published by Quazmoz / Quinn Favo. ## Summary The app is designed to keep workout configuration and runtime state local to the watch. It does not require an app account, advertising service, analytics service, developer-operated application backend, or custom cloud sync. Google Play Billing is used for the optional permanent Pro purchase. The external Quazmoz support website is opened only after the user explicitly taps **Report a bug**. ## Data stored locally The app may store the following data locally on the Wear OS device: - Interval presets and custom workout configurations. - Last-used preset information. - Active timer recovery state and workout/session identifiers needed to restore a running workout. - Pause/completion state required for timer reliability. - App settings, including onboarding completion and the selected color theme. - Local notification-prompt history. - Local rating eligibility/count/suppression state. - Tile and watch-face complication state. - A local cache of optional Pro entitlement state. This information is used only to operate the app features on the watch. ## Permissions and foreground workout behavior The current app uses capabilities needed for user-started interval workouts: - POST_NOTIFICATIONS for the ongoing workout notification on supported Android/Wear OS versions. - VIBRATE for work, rest, countdown, and completion haptic cues. - FOREGROUND_SERVICE and FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE so a user-started workout can continue counting down and deliver scheduled cues while the display is off. - WAKE_LOCK for bounded leases while an actively running workout step requires reliable timing. The app does not request REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS or another battery-optimization exemption. The current manifest does not declare location, microphone, camera, contacts, calendar, files/photos, health/body-sensor, or advertising ID permissions. ## Wear OS Tile and complication The app includes a Wear OS Tile and watch-face complication. These surfaces display or act on app-local timer/preset state and do not transmit workout content to a developer server. ## Google Play Billing and Pro The optional Pro unlock is a one-time Google Play Billing purchase. Google Play handles payment processing, transaction history, and Google Account purchase association. The app receives only the product and purchase state needed to display the offer, acknowledge a purchase, restore ownership, and maintain local entitlement state. The developer does not receive payment-card details. ## Help and support When you explicitly tap **Report a bug**, the Wear OS app attempts to open the canonical Quazmoz support page on the companion phone. If that handoff is unavailable and the watch has a compatible browser, the app can open the same page locally on the watch. The support URL contains only: - the support flow type (bug), - a Wear OS source marker, and - a bounded application version string where available. The Wear OS app does not put logs, diagnostics, workout data, presets, purchase information, account identifiers, device identifiers, screenshots, secrets, or arbitrary user input into the support URL. It does not silently upload diagnostics. If you choose to enter information into the external support website and submit the form, that submission is an explicit action in the website flow. ## Network, accounts, advertising, and analytics The app does not include a developer-operated app account system, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, custom cloud sync, or a developer relay for workout data. Google Play and packaged Google/Android components may process limited distribution, purchase, security, and technical service information under their own policies. The explicit support handoff opens the Quazmoz support website only after user action. ## Backup and deletion Android application backup is disabled for the app's local data in the current manifest. You can remove local app data by clearing app storage in Wear OS settings or uninstalling the app. Google Play purchase history is managed separately by Google Play and may be restored after reinstall. ## Safety Workout Interval HIIT Timer is a general timing utility. It does not provide medical advice, health diagnostics, calorie calculation, emergency guidance, or guaranteed alert delivery. Device state, operating-system behavior, battery conditions, notification settings, and hardware limitations can affect timer surfaces or cues. ## Changes This policy will be updated when the app materially changes its permissions, storage, billing behavior, external support flow, SDKs, or data handling. ## Contact For privacy questions or support, contact Quazmoz@vivaldi.net.
