# Haptic Stage Timer Privacy Policy Last updated: June 30, 2026 Haptic Stage Timer, previously listed in some project materials as Haptic Stage Director, is a standalone Wear OS stage timer app published by Quazmoz / Quinn Favo. ## Summary Haptic Stage Timer is designed to keep timing data on your watch. The developer does not operate a Haptic Stage Timer backend service and does not use app data for advertising. ## Data stored locally Haptic Stage Timer may store the following data locally on your Wear OS device: - Timer presets and preset names. - Timer duration, haptic cue moments, milestone labels, and selected haptic patterns. - Active timer state, overtime state, and foreground notification state. - Session history and summary information where enabled. - Stage Lock, Confidence Mode, Overtime Mode, haptic, onboarding, and app preference settings. - Local Tile, complication, and ongoing activity state used to launch or display the current timer. - Optional local Pro entitlement state so unlocked features remain available on the watch. This data is used only to operate timer presets, haptic cues, active timing, local history, Wear OS surfaces, and optional Pro functionality. ## Permissions Haptic Stage Timer requests only the permissions needed for its current app functionality: - VIBRATE: provides haptic cue patterns, countdown cues, and completion feedback. - POST_NOTIFICATIONS: shows the active timer notification on supported Wear OS versions so you can reopen or stop a running timer. - FOREGROUND_SERVICE and FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE: keeps a user-started stage timer running as a visible foreground service while the timer is active. - com.android.vending.BILLING: supports the optional one-time Pro upgrade through Google Play Billing. The foreground service is used only for a user-initiated stage timer that you explicitly start from the app, Tile, complication, or supported timer entry point. The service shows a visible ongoing notification with the timer state and a Stop action. ## Wear OS surfaces Haptic Stage Timer includes a Wear OS Tile, a watch face complication, and ongoing activity support. These surfaces use local timer state for quick launch or active timer display. They do not transmit timer data to the developer. ## Purchases Haptic Stage Timer uses Google Play Billing for the optional one-time Pro upgrade. Google Play processes purchases, payment details, tax, receipts, and payment account information according to Google's own policies. The developer does not receive or store payment card details. The app may store only local Pro entitlement state so unlocked features remain available. ## Data collection and sharing The developer does not collect, receive, sell, or share Haptic Stage Timer app data from normal app use. The app does not include ads, advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, account registration, a developer backend, or custom cloud sync in the current app code. Google Play, Android, Wear OS, and Google Play services may process limited technical data for app distribution, updates, platform security, purchase processing, notifications, Wear OS tiles, complications, ongoing activity surfaces, and device functionality according to their own policies. ## What the app does not use The current app code does not request or use location, microphone, camera, contacts, calendar, file/photo access, health/body sensors, SMS, phone, advertising ID, ads, analytics SDKs, a developer account system, or a developer cloud backend. ## Data deletion You can delete local Haptic Stage Timer data by clearing app storage in Android/Wear OS settings or uninstalling the app. Because Haptic Stage Timer has no developer backend account system, there is no Haptic Stage Timer server-side account data to delete. ## Safety note Haptic Stage Timer is a timing utility.
