TrafficDeck Privacy Policy
Last Updated: November 4, 2026
Quick Summary
TrafficDeck 0.1.1 is an Android network-rule preview. Saved per-app rules and onboarding state stay in app-private device storage, while network status and the launcher app list are read locally. The consumer app has no VPN service, internet permission, developer account, ads, analytics or crash-reporting SDK.
App-Specific Details
Specific data handling practices for TrafficDeck.
- Save app-rule preferences locally; TrafficDeck does not currently enforce routing or block any traffic.
- Read launchable apps to populate the picker in memory without saving the full list.
- Show Android connection type, metered and validation information locally; no app traffic or browsing history is collected.
- The current consumer build declares ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, not INTERNET, and has no VpnService, advertising or analytics SDK.
- Local app rules are excluded from Android backup and device-to-device transfer.
- Bug reporting opens an external support form through the browser with only app version and Android context in the URL; user-entered form data is sent only if submitted.
- Delete all app rules clears active rules; if a damaged rules file was retained locally, clearing app storage or uninstalling also removes that copy.

TrafficDeck privacy policy
Last updated: November 4, 2026
Canonical policy URL: <https://consultant.quinnfavo.com/privacy/trafficdeck>
This policy covers the TrafficDeck Android app (package `com.quazmoz.trafficdeck`).
What TrafficDeck does today
TrafficDeck lets you choose which connection (Wi-Fi, mobile data, or Ethernet) each app should use, and shows what it would do with those choices. This version doesn't route or block any traffic yet. It has no VPN, it doesn't see other apps' traffic, and it makes no network requests of its own.
Information the app uses
TrafficDeck reads the following on your phone. Everything listed here stays on the device.
- Your app rules: When you save a rule, TrafficDeck stores the app's package name and network preference, including any selected block, fallback, or metered-network options, in app-private storage. It also remembers whether you've finished the introduction.
- Your installed apps: To let you pick an app, TrafficDeck lists the apps that appear in your launcher. The list is read when you open the app and kept in memory only. It isn't saved.
- Your connections and diagnostics: TrafficDeck reads which connections are up, their type, and Android-reported metered and validation status. A bounded recent network-event list is also held in memory. These details are not saved or uploaded.
TrafficDeck doesn't collect traffic, packet contents, browsing history, location, contacts, or advertising identifiers.
What leaves your phone
TrafficDeck itself has no internet permission, account, analytics, advertising, crash-reporting SDK, or developer-operated backend. It does not upload app rules, installed-app lists, or network diagnostics. Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer are disabled for its app data.
Settings links can open other apps at your request:
- Report a bug opens the TrafficDeck support form in your browser. The link contains the report type, an Android source marker, and the app version when available. No app rules, app lists, or connection details are attached. Information you submit is handled by the support website and its form provider under the website's privacy terms.
- Rate on Google Play opens the TrafficDeck listing in the Play Store. Google handles store interactions under its terms.
- Privacy policy opens this website in your browser. Website visits are subject to the [website privacy policy](https://consultant.quinnfavo.com/legal/privacy).
TrafficDeck does not sell user information or automatically send app-specific usage data to the developer or advertising providers.
Deleting your information
Settings > Delete all app rules clears active saved rules. If a rules file could not be read, TrafficDeck may retain a local copy of the damaged file for troubleshooting; this copy is not uploaded and is not removed by Delete all app rules. To remove all TrafficDeck app-private data, including any retained damaged-rule copy and onboarding preferences, clear app storage in Android settings or uninstall TrafficDeck. There is no developer-operated remote user-data store.
Future versions
When a future version starts routing traffic, it will need Android's VPN permission, and this policy will be updated before that version ships. TrafficDeck will ask for your consent in the app before it turns on.
