# WristNote Privacy Policy Last updated: June 17, 2026 WristNote: Voice Notes is a local-first Android and Wear OS app published by Quazmoz / Quinn Favo. It helps users capture short voice notes, text notes, checklist items, task drafts, and reminder drafts from a Wear OS watch and manage them on a paired phone. ## Summary WristNote is designed to keep your notes on your own devices. The developer does not operate a WristNote cloud note service, does not require an account, does not show ads, and does not use analytics SDKs. Your watch and phone may exchange WristNote data with each other using Google Play services Wear OS Data Layer APIs so your own devices can stay in sync. ## Data stored on your devices WristNote may store the following data locally on your phone and/or Wear OS watch: - Text notes you create. - Checklist items and checked/unchecked state. - Task drafts and reminder drafts saved as text notes. - Note titles, note bodies, timestamps, type labels, and sync state. - App settings such as onboarding state and local preferences. - Local Pro entitlement state used to unlock paid features after purchase or restore. - Recent-note cache and bounded watch-side note data used for offline capture and display. This data is used only to provide note capture, checklist editing, search, export, copy/share, phone/watch sync, tile/complication launch behavior, and Pro entitlement functionality. ## Voice input and audio WristNote uses the Android system speech recognizer to convert speech into text. WristNote stores the returned text only. WristNote does not record, store, upload, or retain audio files. ## Phone and watch sync The phone app and Wear OS app may exchange WristNote note data through Google Play services Wear OS Data Layer APIs. This sync is used only to keep your own phone and watch consistent. Sync payloads may include notes, checklist items, total note count, sync metadata, and local Pro status. WristNote does not send this data to a developer-operated note server. ## Google Play Billing WristNote uses Google Play Billing for an optional one-time Pro unlock. Google Play processes purchases according to Google policies. The developer does not receive your payment card number. ## Data deletion You can delete WristNote data in these ways: 1. Open WristNote on your phone. 2. Open a saved note. 3. Tap Delete to remove that note. 4. Repeat for any notes you want to remove. 5. To remove all local WristNote data, uninstall WristNote from your phone and watch or clear app storage in Android/Wear OS system settings. Data deleted through these steps may include local notes, checklist items, task drafts, reminder drafts, note metadata, sync cache, and local app settings. Because WristNote does not operate user accounts or a developer-hosted note server, there is no WristNote server-side note database for the developer to delete. Google Play purchase records are managed by Google and may remain in your Google account purchase history according to Google policies. ## Request deletion help To request help with deletion, email quazmoz@vivaldi.net with the subject line: WristNote data deletion request. Support emails may be retained only as needed to respond to your request and for basic business, security, or legal recordkeeping. It does not automatically schedule alarms, calendar events, or reminder notifications from those drafts. ## Contact Developer: Quinn Favo / Quazmoz For privacy questions, support, or data deletion help, contact quazmoz@vivaldi.net.
