In Development
Coming Soon to Android
MetricSplice is currently in active development. The features listed below represent the planned scope.
Planned Features
- Typed Health Connect metrics for Steps, Sleep Duration, Light, Deep and REM Sleep, Weight, Exercise Duration, Resting Heart Rate and HRV, each read only after you authorise it
- Daily usage-time metrics for apps you select, using Android Usage Access you can revoke at any time
- Manual numeric metrics with units and goals for anything no source covers
- Dashboard with previous-value changes, pin and reorder controls, and compact or comfortable card density
- Metric detail with full history, source and confidence for each observation, and per-metric CSV export
- Data stays in private on-device storage with no MetricSplice account, cloud sync, ads or analytics
- Screen Metrics, which read one visible number from another app that you teach it, remain a debug-only feature while device and Play-policy testing continue
Frequently asked questions
Is MetricSplice available on Google Play?
Not yet. MetricSplice is in development and still needs device testing and Play release checks before a public release.
Does MetricSplice upload my health data?
No. Health Connect readings, usage-time values and manual entries stay in private storage on your device. Exports leave only when you choose a destination.
What are Screen Metrics?
An optional, consent-based way to teach MetricSplice where a number appears in another app so it can keep a history of it. They are still limited to debug builds and are not part of a public release.
