WristRandom: Dice & Picker Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 18, 2026
Quick Summary
WristRandom is a freemium standalone Wear OS randomizer. Dice, coin flips, random numbers, and the bundled sample picker work for free. An optional one-time Pro purchase unlocks custom saved lists, team splitting, the visual wheel, remove-after-pick workflows, and local result history. Lists, settings, history, and entitlement state stay local on the watch. Google Play processes purchases; WristRandom has no account, ads, analytics, or developer backend.
App-Specific Details
Specific data handling practices for WristRandom: Dice & Picker.
- Stores local app settings, the last-used tool, optional custom saved lists and list items, Pro result history, workflow preferences, and entitlement state on the watch.
- Free-tier result details are not persisted into Pro history. Users can clear any locally stored result history from Settings.
- Uses Google Play Billing for the optional non-consumable one-time WristRandom Pro product wristrandom_pro. Google Play processes payment; the developer does not receive payment-card details.
- Eligible owners of the former paid-download version may retain Pro through a separate local legacy paid-owner marker.
- Android backup or device transfer is limited to the migrated paid-owner marker. The Play ownership cache, saved lists, history, and settings are excluded.
- Uses vibration for optional result haptics. It does not request location, microphone, camera, contacts, calendar, files/photos, health sensors, or advertising ID access.
- Does not use an account system, developer backend, cloud sync, ads, analytics SDK, crash-reporting SDK, or subscription.
- Local data is removed when you delete lists or history where available, clear app storage, or uninstall the app.
- Uses casual pseudo-randomness only and is not intended for gambling, lotteries, cryptographic security, regulated contests, or certified draws.

# WristRandom Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 23, 2026
WristRandom is a freemium standalone Wear OS randomizer toolkit published by Quazmoz / Quinn Favo. It provides free local randomizer tools and an optional permanent WristRandom Pro purchase. WristRandom does not offer a subscription.
## Summary
WristRandom is local-first and account-free. It does not use a developer backend, cloud sync, advertising, analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting SDKs. Random results are generated on the watch.
The free app includes dice, coin flips, random number generation, and a picker using the bundled sample list. Pro may unlock custom saved lists, team splitting, a visual wheel, remove-after-pick workflows, and local result history.
## Data stored locally
WristRandom may store the following locally in app-private watch storage:
- App preferences, including animation and optional result-haptics settings.
- The last-used randomizer tool or mode.
- Custom saved-list names, list items, enabled state, and active-list selection for Pro users.
- Remove-after-pick workflow state where used.
- Local Pro result history.
- A temporary local cache of Google Play Pro ownership.
- A separate legacy paid-owner marker for eligible users who purchased the former paid-download version.
Free-tier result details are not persisted into Pro history. Results may update the last-used tool and may trigger optional haptics without creating a stored history record.
## Google Play Billing and WristRandom Pro
WristRandom uses Google Play Billing Library 9.1 for the non-consumable one-time product wristrandom_pro.
The app may request product details and a localized price from Google Play, launch Google's purchase interface, query whether the current Google Play account owns the product, receive purchase state and product identifiers, acknowledge completed purchases, restore purchases, and reconcile entitlement after refunds or revocations.
Google Play processes payment information and transaction records under Google's policies. WristRandom does not receive or store payment-card details and does not send purchase tokens, list contents, or result history to a developer backend.
Pending purchases do not unlock Pro until Google Play reports completion. Free tools remain usable when Billing is temporarily unavailable.
## Existing paid-owner migration and backup
Eligible owners of the former paid-download version may retain permanent Pro access through a separate local legacy paid-owner marker. This marker exists because Google Play Billing cannot query historical ownership of the former paid app as an in-app product.
Android cloud backup or device transfer is limited to that migrated paid-owner marker. WristRandom excludes the temporary Google Play ownership cache, saved lists, list items, result history, and general settings from backup.
## Permissions and platform services
WristRandom uses vibration capability for optional haptic feedback and Google Play Billing for the optional one-time Pro purchase and restoration.
The current app does not request location, microphone, camera, contacts, calendar, files/photos, health/body sensors, advertising ID, notification, exact alarm, foreground service, or background sensor permissions.
Google Play, Android, and Wear OS may process limited technical, distribution, security, and purchase-related information according to their own policies.
## Data collection and sharing
The developer does not collect, receive, sell, or share WristRandom saved lists, list items, random results, result history, settings, or entitlement records through a developer-operated service.
WristRandom does not include an account system, ads, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, tracking SDK, crash-reporting SDK, custom backend, or custom cloud sync.
## Tiles and complications
WristRandom may provide Wear OS Tile and complication launch surfaces. The Tile is entitlement-aware and uses only local state. Free users receive access to free tools and sample data; Pro-only custom-list data is not exposed through a free route.
These surfaces do not upload lists or results to the developer and do not start a background Billing connection merely to render their content.
## Data deletion
You can delete local WristRandom data by deleting saved lists or history where available, using the clear-history control in Settings, clearing app storage in Wear OS settings, or uninstalling the app.
Because WristRandom does not maintain a developer backend account database, there is no WristRandom server-side account data to delete. Google Play purchase history is managed by Google Play.
## Randomness and safety disclaimer
WristRandom uses casual pseudo-randomness for everyday choices, games, and utility picks. It is not intended for gambling, lotteries, cryptographic security, legal or compliance drawings, regulated contests, or certified random draws.
## Children's privacy
WristRandom is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
## Changes
This policy may be updated if WristRandom changes its features, permissions, SDKs, billing behavior, backup behavior, or data practices. The current version and update date will be published on this page.
